How to combine Claudia installed on Windows with Claude code in WSL?

Since Claude code can only be installed on Windows via WSL, and I have successfully installed Claudia on Windows and installed Claude code in WSL, how can I run Claude code successfully in the Claudia desktop?

Same here, after trying to run the bundled claude-code.exe I get the error:

error: No suitable shell found. Claude CLI requires a Posix shell environment. Please ensure you have a valid shell installed and the SHELL environment variable set.

What's the meaning of this project if Claudia supposed to run on Windows but not be able to talk to Claude Code which supposed to run on WSL??? I'm deeply shocked and confused!

Same situation here! I first tried installing Claudia inside WSL, but when I launched it, the UI was just blank. So now I'm trying to install Claudia directly on Windows.

But the docs are a bit unclear — for example, the Rust install command doesn’t work in PowerShell, and there’s no clear Windows-native setup.

I am confused.

At the moment, Claudia is unable to use the Claude code in WSL. I consider this an unforeseen issue.

I was able to install Claudia in Windows and the basic UI works, but it has no knowledge of a WSL instance of Claude Code.

I keep getting prompted to /login, but login isn't listed under Settings | Commands. Since Windows is listed as a valid build platform, this is disappointing...

I tried installing into WSL directly, but that just blew up as well.

I'm uninstalling until the author releases a native Windows installer.

I’ve tried it and faced similar issues. Didn’t get it to connect to the bundled version of Claude correctly.

Claude is now native on windows on version 1.0.51, but claudia is not building

Hey everyone,

To make Claude Code work natively on windows without WSL, you can use git bash. It is what Anthropic themselves said on the official Claude Code installation page: https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/claude-code/setup

Once you've installed everything and configured the environment values, it'll work in the normal Windows Terminal app as well, which is fantastic.

But, besides all written above, I can't beat the error in this issue topic - "Bun v1.2.18 (Windows x64)" instead of claude's answer.
