Set up a hosted CiteULike plugin API

CiteULike has an excellent (but could-be-improved) collection of plugins in several languages for extracting citations from URLs. These are available at http://svn.citeulike.org/svn/plugins under mostly open-source licenses.

It would be supercool to have these sitting on a server somewhere with an API in front of them, which would give you back BibTeX when you submit a URL. For bonus points, the server setup could be hooked to a GitHub repo containing only the open-source modules, allowing it to be updated automatically whenever the repo changed. This is, however, a fair amount of work.
