See #18. 2.8 compatibility is a work in progress.

With that said, I think that porting the addon while 2.8 is still in beta may be more trouble than it's worth. Beta versions of any software can cause weird issues, so waiting until there is a stable release will mean fewer errors that are unrelated to the port wasting time.
