UX for pending user actions #2674
Description
#2595 will provide a framework for submitting client-side actions back to the Journalist API.
User-initiated actions need a UX that indicates that they are pending and potentially when they have either succeeded or failed:
- A reply is being sent
- A source is being un/starred
- A source (account) is being deleted
- A source conversation (consisting of all of its items) is being deleted
Side effects do not need pending UX, because the app can simply retry them until they either succeed or fail:
- A source has been viewed → its items are being marked as seen
