I use only aparent solar time for all of your apps.
When I set an alarm, it shows both, the system time on big prominent position and my custom time. I don't want to see the system time.
Also when the alarm starts it also shows the system time as the biggest and the solar time only small on the top.

Also I would like to see the day of the year instead of the gregorian calender date.
Therefore it would be necessary to let the user choose what event marks the first day of the year. For myself I would choose the first day of spring for example.
