Expected behavior
Should not show the goose shit warning banner below (translated : This App was built for an old Android release and cannot be automatically updated)

Probably related with Android 14
Here I see:

Which translates to:

"This app was created for an older version of Android. It may not function properly and does not include the latest privacy and security protections. Please check for an update or contact the app developer."

I have a general error if I push the install button in f-froid; but I have the following notice in F-DROID:

@aarek-eng It is unlikely that installation error and the "built for older android" warning are the same.

Unfortunately its a vague message, so you will need to retrieve the actual error from the logcat to determine why it failed to install.

I have the same message on the f-droid repo.
Also I was not able to install the app from F-Droid. I also had a Google Play Protect screen telling me:

Unsafe app blocked
This app was build for an older version of Android and doesn't include the latest privacy protections.

It is possible to circonvent this warning by clicking on "more details" and choose the well hidden button "install anyway".

@forrestguice I think the "unknown error" is caused by this external Google Play Protect intrusion that is propably triggered by the Android version warning.

@aloxe I doubt it - please retrieve the actual exception from the logcat so we know for sure.
There are actually a variety of possible causes (e.g. low disk space, low battery, to name a few).
