I just happened upon this and wanted to download it myself.

I'm not sure this is an official repo, based on the comment on #2. firmata.org now redirects to sourceforge; if that is official, it's just as outdated - looked like it was last updated in 2013 😞

What is your goal? If you just want to test your firmata firmware is working correctly, there are more modern solutions than this repo. This is indeed outdated, but is also not part of the actual firmata stuff (which is still maintained).
