[firebase_messaging] Can I process the notification display myself after receiving a firebase background message?

I looked at the example project of firebase_messaging, and the screenshots show that I need to handle the notification display myself

However, when I integrated firebase_messaging and implemented it according to the example, there were two identical notifications in the notification bar in android device. I guess the FCM SDK handles the notification display internally?

So I can handle the display of background messages myself?

I may know the answer. I saw "bypass_proxy_notification" and "proxy" in the document.
