[Firestore-BigQuery-Export] Is it possible to do this export with a firebase realtime database

Apologies if this question is somewhat obvious - I am new to Firebase!

I am wondering if its possible to use the Firestore-BigQuery-Export extension with a realtime database to back data up in big query, or if there is some other equivalent extension. Or if the recommended way of doing this is first backing up your data in firestore, then exporting it, as described here: https://firebase.google.com/docs/firestore/firestore-for-rtdb
