Table view with PerspectiveWidget updated twice

Hi,

This project looks great and I am starting to try it with some samples.
Here is my sample using jupyter notebook to update the table, while it looks like the table view is updated twice

here is my python code:

from perspective import Table, PerspectiveWidget
import time

rows = [{"a": 1, "b": True}, {"a": 2, "b": False}]

table = Table(rows)

widget = PerspectiveWidget(table)
widget

for i in range(10):
    table.update({
        "a": [i],
        "b": [True]
    })
    time.sleep(1)

I was expecting when I call table.update, a new record should be added to the view, while it seems inserted two duplicated records to the table

did I make some mistake here?

This code works fine (and we have 1000s of integration tests for this code path so I am very skeptical there is a bug this obvious here). You didn't post your actual notebook but I notice in your code that there are some implied blocks (e.g. the lone widget, the rows being out-of-order, etc), so if I had to guess - you created a Table in a previous cell and evaluated two population loops accidently.

Yes, I did try to use binder, but seem in that env, the perspective widget is breaking

That's not a repro my dude. I need your entire environment - every python library version, jupyter version,the complete installation instructions you followed, operating system and arch.

@gangtao DO NOT POST LINKS TO LOCAL JUPYTER INSTANCES ON THE INTERNET EVER.

Not only can I not login to this (I don't know your password), you are basically posting a command interpreter for your internal company for anyone on the internet to use.

@timkpaine has reported to me that he can repro this on the NBClassic environment (which we don't officially support), and found some relevant bugs in their Issues list e.g. jupyterlab/jupyterlab#13731 . Please try upgrading to a modern Jupyter environment, neither JupyterLab or Retro Notebook seem to have this issue.
