Failed to load model class 'PerspectiveModel' from module '@finos/perspective-jupyterlab'

I currently have perspective/packages/* linked and listed as jupyter labextensions and enabled, confirmed that packages are linked and pointing to my locals as well appropriate environment variables are set. Any help in resolving this? On running jupyter lab with code:

If you're running off master, you don't need to link but you do need to install the python package (see the docs). If you're running off 1.9.4, you need to jupyter labextension install packages/perspective-jupyterlab

Thank you. I did run yarn jlab_link [pip3 install ./python/perspective --no-build-isolation]. So I tried jupyter labextension install packages/perspective-jupyterlab and had same error. Jupyterlab Notebook plugins from my local working directory, are listed in both jupyter nbextension list and jupyter labextension list.

you should do one or the other, not both. If you're looking at the public documentation, that is from 1.9.4. It is not the same as master. The error from the stack trace is clear:

Error: No version of module @finos/perspective-jupyterlab is registered

You have not installed the lab extension. Double check your jupyter --paths, and ensure that your pip installed perspective created labextensions/@finos/perspective in your chosen jupyter configuration directory.
