adaptive axis label rotation with d3fc

I am looking at some of the existing patterns, to better understand how to accommodate crowded label space around the chart axes.

It seems like maybe a well fit place for an approach such as this, could be the ordinalAxis. However, there is some related feature behaviour in multiAxis . Any thoughts on the suggested solution and approach for integrating to the d3fc package ?
