Client Install instructions when not using GsDevkit?

There are [instructions for installing a server without GsDevKit](https://github.com/feenkcom/gt4gemstone/blob/master/doc/bareGemStoneInstallation.md) .

Is it possible to install a client in Pharo without being dependent on GsDevkit too?
