BlenderBot2 Getting Started

I would like to check out BB2 but i am having trouble understanding some of the runtime options. I am running everything locally from the parlai interactive script. I would like to get it to save memories to a file, also I cant figure out how to use personas. Basically what do i need to know to go from a blank Parlai install to having a working BB2 instance running locally. Any help is greatly appreciated!
