[FireMonkey] can't install scripts on Firefox (Android) #656
Comments
I tried it on desktop and it works. There might be an issue related to Android. |
the log is empty, it doesn't show anything after trying to install it. this happens with all the scripts, btw. |
There have been others who have used FireMonkey on Android. Can you test it with standard Firefox? For now, if you have a desktop computer, you can install them and then export the settings and import them into the Android version. |
yes, this also happens on Firefox for Android. nothing happens when I tap on "Install this script". |
Hi, i use firemonkey both in Android and in PC. In the pc(Firefox 131) the https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/19993-ru-adlist-js-fixes URL works for me. I click "Install this script" and then a new tab is open, with the popup of firemonkey saying if i want to install that extension. Clicking OK install the extension in the firemonkey PC. In Android i use "Firefox Nightly" with firemonkey. In there, clicking "Install this script" opens the new tab but there is no pop-up saying if i want to install it. You can always copy the code(select all) and then paste it into a new JS sheet inside firemonkey. PS: all my scripts seems to work both in Android and in PC. I just wanted to add that the UI of firemonkey in android is non-responsive (you will see it zoomed as if were a desktop browser page), but you can always activate "show desktop site" to make it look better. This sometimes leads to bugs into the writing mode, but so far it works for me. In "Desktop site" mode, i.e. you cannot paste code from clipboard. To do this, open Firemonkey with the "desktop site" disabled, paste the code, click "Save" then you can go to "desktop mode" activated and modify by hand the lines(writing and deleting characters and else works in desktop mode). |
hi, when I tap on "Install this script", nothing really happens:
https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/19993-ru-adlist-js-fixes
I'm using this browser:
https://f-droid.org/packages/org.mozilla.fennec_fdroid/
(Firefox's fork on Android)
