How to get x,y coordinates of current canvas

I want to use the setMolecule API to set the structure, but the thing is, I don't want the canvas to rescale or take a new position whenever I use setMolecule. Is it possible to get x,y of canvas before calling setMolecule and pass the same x,y to the setMolecule API?

I need some API to get the x,y of the current canvas(structure).
