As we are still in a process of back-filling data for the RFCs we needed to temporarily allow null for `release-date` and `release-versions` https://github.com/emberjs/rfcs-tooling/pull/5 Once we have successfully updated all the old RFCs then we can essentially undo the above PR 👍
