The search box works just fine with direct links to Mastodon instances, however, it doesn't display any results when pasting a Link to an Elk instance.

For example:

https://mastodon.online/@kavin/110738476266129964 works

But https://elk.zone/mastodon.online/@kavin/110738476266129964 doesn't work
