Enhanced edition installer not launching

I open the installer of Silent Hill 2 Enhanced edition installer, get past the language selection window, but then it stops responding. I've tried turning off my antivirus.

Sorry you're having issues. May I ask what region/country you're running the installer from?

I am from Finland so I suppose there. I solved the problem though, by just running the installer on my laptop and transfering the files on a usb drive, so no problem anymore. My pc probably has some conflicting programs that make it freeze.

Same problem. My country is Russian Federation. Antivirus has nothing to do with it

Below are direct links to download the package files. Before you download them this way: If you have a VPN that you can use, can you temporarily change your location to see if that works? I haven't touched anything with geolocation but I'm curious if my hosting provider has without telling me...

@Nikirixx I suspect your Windows installation is translated (not in English) ?

Oh interesting. Never thought that could be the issue. I'll remember this if/when another user reports this issue.
