Support login with finger prints #5
Comments
Is this currently supported by the login manager respectively the lightdm theme? I don't think so and therefore this affects them as well. Launchpad Details: #LPC Marvin Beckers - 2014-12-24 23:26:27 +0000 |
I'm not intimately familiar with how logging in with a fingerprint works, but I know it's been problematic even when the hardware support is there (like in a few of our System76 laptops). We don't disagree with you, but before it can be implemented in the user accounts plug it needs to be supported by both hardware and the pantheon greeter. That's all we said. Launchpad Details: #LPC Marvin Beckers - 2015-01-07 21:27:53 +0000 |

Hi, is there any plans to add this to some elementaryos version? It's a must. |

A user should be able to setup their finger prints to login where a scanner is present in hardware.
