[Help] Failed preload + window.ipcRenderer is undefined

On initialization (using yarn install and yarn run dev), I receive a sequence of errors:

and a bunch of other errors that start with a failed preload. How to address?

1. First, make sure that you execute all the 'yarn install' correctly and correctly.
2. You may need to pay attention to your Node.js version in addition to this(recommended versions 18-20).

I have the same problem. A minimal npm create electron-vite with Typescript and React doesn't work. The ipcRenderer simply does not get exposed to Vite in the browser. I've searched way more than I should and no one has this problem the the most similar problems haven't been useful to me. I'd be really greatefull if someone could help.
