In the last month, we had a reading of the meter on 2-Oct-24 and then again on 8-Nov-24 and had used 283 cubic metres of water, so 283,000 litres of water. An €860 bill.
To provide some context, our bills are usually €70 on an average month.
This is nuts and also preposterous.
The counter was not going round and round like crazy so we do not have a persistent leak
The pool is completely green so even if there was a temporary issue with the pool somehow using AGERE water instead of well water, which also miraculously fixed itself, the pool water would at least be looking clearer. Plus this amount of water fils MULTIPLE pools 🤷♀️
If there was a leak in the house it would be flooded
If there was a leak in the garden, it would be muddy
There is no conceivable way we could have used this much water.
I am therefore getting a plumber out to double-check everything on our end and Daniel is coming to check the pool side of things at 14h00 today just in case 🤷♀️ @nelsonic Do you want to meet him or should I?

@iteles Daniel sent us a quote for using the well water for topping up the pool and completely cancelling Agere bills for outside; shared with you. Can we please move forward?
€300 feels like a lot considering it's just 25m of 1" tube and a few connectors and prolly 1 say of work.
but in the context of the above, can we just green light it ASAP?
We have an issue.
