I can't find where to report bugs for the website (https://astrometry.net/), so I am writing it here. Please redirect me if it should be reported elsewhere.

On https://astrometry.net/use.html , the link in (3) grab some index files points to a dead link which is HTTP 403 Forbidden now. Please update it with the up-to-date URL. Thanks.

Thanks for reporting this!

I'll update the link -- it should be http://data.astrometry.net/

cheers,
dustin

@dstndstn The http://data.astrometry.net/ site now serves up a forum for the Legacy Survey - web server misconfiguration perhaps?

@JamesHarrison That URL points to the correct "Astrometry.net index files and other data" page for me. What you have described is https://data.astrometry.net/ and then you ignored a certificate warning. It might be not the optimal configuration but it is usable anyways...

Right, this is an http vs https thing.

The link on https://astrometry.net/use.html points to http://data.astrometry.net
and that works.

If, for some reason, someone instead typed in (or maybe if their web browser is doing something weird and instead going to) https://data.astrometry.net , then that does not work.

So I'm going to say that if a link to the https version exsits, then that is a bug, and otherwise this is not a bug.
