how can i programatically move the carousel to the next item ?

hi,

I'm having issues programmatically moving the carousel item to the next or previous on button press.

I got a help that i neede dot use the hook useCarouselController , but i can' t find anywhere to import this.

What if you use ref and then have a couple methods to do movements:

const goToNext = () => {
    carouselRef.current.next();
  };

  const goToPrev = () => {
    carouselRef.current.prev();
  };

use Ref for it as @schultz9999 suggested
If you want to navigate to a certain index programmatically then do as below:

import Carousel, { ICarouselInstance } from 'react-native-reanimated-carousel';
...
const carouselRef = useRef<ICarouselInstance>(null);

then use this to get the current index:
carouselRef.current.getCurrentIndex()
finally:
carouselRef.current.scrollTo({ index: _carouselIndexYouWant_, animated: false });
