Expanding Cannonball to other titles

Has there been any consideration to expand the Cannonball project to include similar titles, such as Turbo OutRun, OutRunners, Power Drift, and Rad Mobile?

I ask this because I would like to future-proof my Arcade1Up OutRun cabinet, which contains three of the four aforementioned titles, plus Rad Rally, but also so myself and others can play these games independently of the MAME emulator.
