Instrumentation Tests fail on BrowserStack after Test libs updates #2913

We've noticed that when we bump Espresso libraries to 3.5+ and other test librairs, instrumentation tests in BrowserStack don't run, it returns shows the following error:

BrowserStack said that they support this version of Espresso, which means that the problem might be on our end, maybe there are some missing or incompatible dependencies.
