This plugin is great but worst path is that is too slow, this is the last thing that keep me away from Atom.
I searched for best Magit clone for Sublime and found SublimeGit, its status view is best and not so noisy. It freaky fast and has only popular git commands. Just look at this, one page holds all needed, for other commands we can use commands palette. Status view should show only status, IMO. Speed is more meaningful here.
Guide to make better status view for plugin or this is better to start new simple plugin? Also why this plugin is so slow? Is this Atom itself problem or plugin/library problem?

Just discovered this package; lack of tools was one of things that kept me away from Atom for quite a long time.
I'd also add that using a tab instead of pane looks better, not to mention that you can put more info on the tab, and use different tabs for different things, like showing branches and refs (y in magit), diffing etc. Atomatigit pane is also somewhat slow on my project; it takes almost a second to toggle it on and off, which is very strange (especially the closing part). Magit and SublimeGit both work without any freezes.
Im new to Atom. Looks cool and promising.
