First off I want to say THANK YOU for making this amazing music player years ago, I was using Dopamine version 2.XX for years and realized it hadn't updated in a while. I just Googled around to check for a more recent version and found out you have been working on Dopamine version 3.XX which uses an entirely different code base and explains why I never saw anymore automatic updates for a while lol (bookmarked your personal website for safekeeping now).
I love the interface design and aesthetics, smooth and streamlined feature set, and super light digital footprint on the CPU and overall system resources. There is one thing that really bugs me (although this isn't a bug fix request pardon the pun lol), that is the ability to play parent folders with sub-folders of music (something most music players can do by default). Now with Dopamine 2.XX I could do this via right click -> context menu in my music library but the performance was horrible and the tracks kept skipping (while spiking CPU usage). I see there is not any option nor context menu to do this in Dopamine 3.XX and it's so disappointing to me that I cannot do this! :(
Please implement a feature that will allow us to play entire folders of music and also give us the option to do this via a right click context menu option! This would surely make my day and I'm certain, the days for many others as well! :)
Thanks for all your hard and diligent work on the evolving Dopamine music player application, please let me know how soon this would be possible! <3
Edit: Oof I see my issue number is the infamous 666 lol.....I guess the devil really will be in the details! :O
