Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Subsequent to #2. After API actually works, it would be helpful for other to understand how to see how it works.

Document how to run and use the API in the README with further details in the wiki.

Describe alternatives you've considered
N/A

Additional context
This is a true open source project for others to use. I didn't build it, but once it's fixed up again, I'd like others to feel the same freedom to carry it forward.
