Currently there's no way to write " i " except by writing another character with it and then backspacing that character, which seems rather silly.
It will automatically change to " I " no matter what, which is perfect, except for when I need to write " i " (such as mathematical usage)
Most keyboards when you push the backspace key, undo their autocorrections, I think that would be reasonable to do here as well.
