pip install idt not working on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to terminal
2. sudo pip install idt --break-system-packages

Expected behavior
The package should be downloaded.

Additional context
Had to use --break-system-packages because without it, I kept getting 'error: externally-managed-environment'.
