There's confusion in the behavior and functionality of registries including services like homebase.

While registries provide the functionality of making published dats available to peers, there's often a user hope or expectation that this would/could provide a means for also offloading the physical hosting of the data.

It's expected that these registries won't provide hosting for free, but the desire for a solution in the area has been ruminated on for a while.

It would be good to provide documentation or at least an FAQ entry that can point users at services that are available (if any currently are) or provide a guide on which tools (local or 3rd party) are available to provide this functionality for themselves.
