Switch to toggle between small and large text in the text editor

I frequently switch between a small 16 point font and a large 36 point font depending if it is meant for public viewing (large) or private correspondence when I don't want others to read (small). My default text is small and it is a tedious process to open the preference dialog box, clicking the application tab, and changing the editor font. I would rather use the preference dialog box to define 2 different fonts for the text editor and be able to toggle between them from buttons on the toolbar.
