Task bubble for pending tasks

Would be cool to see a bubble here with the number of currently pending tasks if there are any:

We should generally consider indicating pending tasks where they are relevant, e.g. here we could also place a bubble with the number of pending uploads and if a user hovers over it, it shows the user some additional context for the pending uploads that he might have (file name, nb of files, date ...).

Further related user feedback:

I missed the notification with the download info and was confused when it finished and nothing seemed to happen.
I think it’s a bit unintuitive having to navigate to the tasks page to then click again on a download link to get the actual file.
would be nice to also be informed on the project page once it’s ready and to easily trigger the actual download from there as well.
you could also consider showing a bubble for pending downloads there similar to my suggestion further above for a pending uploads bubble.
you could for example notify the user in a notification that a download is now ready and add a “download file now” button there in the notification

I don't think or not sure there will exist any pending upload cases.
Could you @pcaversaccio provide any cases ?

Maybe the Notifications system will resolve this, but this will need lot effort to build this. What would be the priority is @pcaversaccio and @ttattl ?

what do you mean exactly @locpnh1995? whenever you upload a bunch of images it will have a list of pending upload cases (you don't drop a folder of 500 images and a second later everything is uploaded). Overall, the message of this issue is that we must do a better job at indicating pending tasks where they are relevant.

Maybe the Notifications system will resolve this, but this will need lot effort to build this. What would be the priority is @pcaversaccio and @ttattl ?
