Cypress extension has disconnected error while running lighthouse test

Hi Team,

I am trying to integrate lighthouse to our existing cypress e2e suite. But I'm seeing this error while running a sample test "Cypress extension has disconnected. Cypress cannot run tests without this extension 'reload the browser'.
I am attaching the screenshot and we use cypress 12.7.0 , node 16.15.0 and chrome version 111.0.5563.64 .

Reference - #18131 but there is no resolution mentioned and the issue has been closed.

Any help is appreciated.
