get error for test environment CypressError: cy.request() requires a url. You did not provide a url.

Here is my environment:

Cypress binary version: 9.7.0
Electron version: 18.0.4
Bundled Node version: 16.13.2
OS: Mac

When I run

npm run test

I can see the local web service is started and all test run and passed, but when I run the command:

npm run test-prep

I always get error msg like:

Hello everyone, is it any update on this problem?
I have the same problem with "cypressVersion": "12.17.4".
We run a cy.request in a loop 6 times in our CI/CD. Sometimes the 6.th request throws the error "CypressError: cy.request() requires an url". It happens very seldom (the test is executed 20-30 times per day, it failes only one time per day), but we do not understand why. Because the first five request have no problem and the URL doesn't change dynamicaly. It stays the same all the time.

Update 02.05.2024:
We found out that it was an error on our side. We called the URL for the 6th cy.request() from Cypress.env("URL") and forgot to put the "CYPRESS_" prefix to the environment name, so it will be recognizes by Cypress: "CYPESS_URL", see https://docs.cypress.io/guides/guides/environment-variables#Option-3-CYPRESS_
