What do you mean by this exactly? A "subscribe" button that sends an email whenever an event is posted on the website?

The exact details have not yet been discussed, that's why it's still in icebox. But what I meant, is, that after a user goes to the events calendar, can can choose to subscribe to an event(s) he likes.

A day before event and right before it starts, he could get a notification sent to his email and (or) on discord via a bot.

There should also probably be a toggle in the account settings menu for event notifications, right?

I don't know much about Javascript and Discord bots, but I assume it can be doable. The email is easy enough..

Maybe. I didn't have this in mind initially, because if you subscribed to an event, you would like to be aware of it somehow. Could someone be happy with just a list of events? Maybe...

The selective event notifs are already better than 99.999% of all websites in 2019, so they should definitely be implemented.
