I like the idea of being able to choose not to display certain content rather than deleting it entirely. This allows me to play around with ideas without affecting what's shown to me when in regular view.
Unfortunately, the prosemirror plugin doesn't play nice with those plugins. First, I tried the comment syntax plugin. When toggling into the WYSIWYG view and back, the comment is simply gone, deleted. Then I tried the comment plugin. On the positive side, WYSIWYG won't delete or break a comment but it's not possible to write something right before or after the comment.
Frankly, though, I'm not even sure if this issue is placed here correctly or if I have to ask the other plugin developers about this. Your feedback is appreciated.
