Fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment with PTC Windchill

Was on Version 11.0.18_10 with issue. Updated to 11.0.27.6.1 and still have issue.

Error logs are created twice a day.

Expected behavior

No error logs or dump files to occur.

For VM crashes, please attach the error report file. By default the file name is hs_err_pidpid.log, where pid is the process ID of the process.

@nbula92 Thank you for reporting the issue. The provided error report file does not have enough information to identify the root cause.
On the screenshot I see other hs_err files. Could you provide them as well?
How often does your application crash? Could you provide a reproducer?

Attached are more hs_err files. I did turn off dump files from being created on 4/22. There were 4 error report files after that with no dump files. We haven't had an error report file since 4/26, so maybe the issue resolved itself? I am told by IT that no changes were made to the server.

In the hs_err files I see you are using SentinelOne java agent. I found that the agent can cause JVM crashes:

• EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) - After updating to Adoptium Java 21 in Apache Tomcat 9.x version, server is getting force shutdown with fatal error adoptium/adoptium-support#1117

In above, suggested solutions are:

• Disable the agent by removing -agentpath:C:\Program Files\SentinelOne\Sentinel Agent 24.1.4.257\SentinelJava64.dll=extendedCapabilities from JVM options.
• Remove =extendedCapabilities.
