Language Spoken by Coqui Studio Voices isn't Communicated to Potential Customers #439
Comments
Noted, I'll add another section for this on the homepage |
Here's the Figma design; https://www.figma.com/file/9oyngmHPTBHTcGQx9ZsSi6?node-id=1:2#369073241 |
@kdavis-coqui since the website will be updated we can add the task to new web site brief, would you agree? |
Why not do it now? |
We can but there will be double work. |
Adding, for example, one more item to the Free Trial and Starter tier lists on the Pricing Page is almost no work. Doing it twice is still almost no work. This is a question our current users have and we should give them an answer now and not later. |
Then at least let's act more humble :) |
https://github.com/coqui-ai/coqui-studio/issues/1256 is the multiple language design issue by the way |
Coming soon mention added. |
I'm not looking for anything as fancy as what you've already done. All I want to do is to communicate the current potential users that when they sign up, the voices produced by Coqui Studio will be English. About once every two days an email is sent to [email protected] asking which languages are currently supported. So the fact that we currently support English isn't being communicated to current potential users. This could be communicated by, for example, adding one more item to the Free Trial and Starter tier lists on the Pricing Page indicating that both the Free Trial and Starter tier only support English. |
I don't think we should place this large multi-language element on the homepage as we don't support multiple languages. Having this on the homepage will only serve to confuse people more as we currently don't have multi-language support. |
Makes sense. So we'll freeze the multi-language element and roll out the two other revisions. We may as well add "English" keyword to the samples voice section on the home page. |
Here are the content revision suggestions to emphasize that English is the only language Coqui Studio speaks. 1) Landing Page 2) Landing Page - Scroll down 1 3) Landing Page - Scroll down 4 - Sample AI Voices 4) Pricing Page (https://coqui.ai/pricing) + Account Page |
Here's the figma link for the landing page revision: https://www.figma.com/file/9oyngmHPTBHTcGQx9ZsSi6?node-id=1:2#376875161 Pricing page: https://www.figma.com/file/9oyngmHPTBHTcGQx9ZsSi6?node-id=4669:9432#376878389 |
Nowhere on the Home Page or Pricing page is it indicated what language the Coqui Studio voices speak in. This should be presented to potential customers.
