But then, we have two big issues to deal with. The first one is that the CS simulator is not and won’t ever be an educational tool. It shouldn’t be marketed as such. Or if it’s educational, it’s just about teaching us, humans, to renounce to our agency.
And that’s the second issue, the elephant in the room. If the best way to design a commons is to feed cadCAD with a set of parameters, what’s the role assigned to human agency? What is the sense of “participatory decision-making” (Ostrom’s 3rd principle, mentioned in @JeffEmmett ’s piece on Ostrom + Effective DAO Management) if the design space and the optimum paths are generated a computer?
