Getting CodeIgniter\\Shield\\Exceptions\\LogicException

Hi,

I am not sure if this issue has been raised before as i could not find something related.

I am just learning this fantastic library. I have created the APIs for the following:

(1) Register user
(2) Login User
(3) Get user profile
(4) Logout

After i created all the code and routes and tested them they all seem to work fine for a while. But the last logout, I tried the login and i getting these:

I am totally knocked out on how to resolve this. Please help.

In which part can't you understand the error message?

@kenjis thank you for responding. After more reading of the documentation, i understood what was meant by "Fix your code to prevent users from logging in without logging out or delete the session data. user_id: 5". I fixed the code as follows and it works fine now:

if (auth()->loggedIn()) {
            auth()->logout();
}
