We discussed on slack maybe having some functionality in Django Admin to disable rate limiting for a user, goal of this ticket would be to both decide on an approach and implement it.

Product Requirements:

  • Maintaining parity with Stage/Prod as much as possible
  • This should only be possible on stage
  • The ability to turn off rate limits easily for a user for an amount of time
  • The ability to turn off rate limits for many/all users if needed
