Expand functionality to allow a searchable list of presenters/speakers. Profile info could be stored in a speakers.yaml file and linked to presentations on the GH username.
"Cloud Native certified" speakers could be tagged that way to separate them from everyone else who just submits a presentation. "Cloud Native certified" speakers are basically the equivalent of the speakers we used to accept in the Speakers Bureau. It is those who have certain credentials to make them good candidates for inviting to a conference to speak.
Other tags could be used to designate "staff" presentations or speakers from CNCF.

In theory, anyone can submit a profile and add themselves as a speaker
Tag can be given to vetted speakers. But how do we vet the speakers?
Committee to review 1x per month?
A minimum number of talks per speaker?
Actions
Audra to check with Libby to see how it was done in the past

@castrojo to gather feedback by demoing the presentation repo to ambassadors at the next monthly sync in the beginning of September. Worst case, delay it to October.
Some comments from our chat with the Ambassadors:
- Generally people like this idea
- Since CNCF is moving towards using Sessionize for profiles, can we just link out to (or import from) that bio rather than have to maintain yet another bio on the Presentations site? (There are also bios on the LFID portal)
- People want to limit the number of bios to maintain
- We should tag the ambassadors that are interested in speaking engagements, along with the topics on which they can talk, geo focus, ref past talk recordings etc. as part of the ambassador profile
- Could we enhance the bureau with a “speaker wannabe” section to support first timers?
