because of that some daemons need to run in background to run scans, i change the own i386 rootfs builds to phusion/baseimage.

There is a own "init" system that works really nice and solves some errors and "docker bugs".

The good thing is that it is like a real vm, so cronjobs are working from system side.

Just curious, have you tried supervisord?
