Deployed smart contracts can be active:

  • permanently
  • temporarily or intermittently.

The latter case refers to contracts that are for example deployed to be created and destroyed in the same transaction.
Furthermore, this creation and destruction in the same transaction can happen multiple times for the same contract address.
Concrete examples can be explored here.

For SCSC, we won't focus on these contracts at the moment. It's not clear to me what role they play in the ecosystem.
