Access external hosts from within containers

Somehow I can not get this to access nodes on local network or internet.
Can access hosts services and then use a proxy there to do things like apt get etc.

But I need my containers to access services on other host on local network.

trying to access them does not show in UFW log. So I am not certainly that any "ufw allow" commands will help here.

Any ideas, anyone?
