Notes

Problem: Camunda-run EE:7.21.6 currently points to Spring boot 3.3.0 (ref)
Side-effect: The respective vulnerabilities that are fixed with bumping spring-boot are not fixed in camunda-run EE

Why: The inline version.spring-boot property prevents the latest version to be inherited from camunda-platform/parent/pom.xml

Solution: When updating to latest spring-boot, make sure the change is applied also for camunda-run EE.

• The version upgrade targets the latest 3.3.x to benefit from security fixes.

Update:

• master will be updated to latest Spring Boot 3.4.x in the respective ticket
• 7.22 will support Spring Boot 3.3.x, Spring Boot 3.4.x under spring-boot-33, spring-boot-34 profiles respectively. camunda-run will use the latest spring-boot 3.4.x
