Event Listeners are not working. Callback functions are not executing and returning anything. [ios]

I've tried to add the listeners in my project and i was not able to make them work. when I checked the issues, there were many issue regarding the same, please try to take some time and look into this issue.

This behaviour is noticed in both IOS. @c19354837 please take a look into this
