The crucial feature I miss is an option to have folders in (at least) one of the panels shown as a pure folder structure, without any bookmarks.
Without this feature, navigation when organizing/moving many bookmarks to different folders takes too much time (at least for me).
I am new to GitHub, so please guide me on how to submit issues. Should I post the following as a separate issue/feature request?
An improvement of the above feature would be the capacity to collapse or expand all folders and also any specific folder.
(This would then allow one to navigate through the bookmark folder structure like in the Chrome (v95) and Firefox (v62) bookmark managers.)

Same here.
It would be nice if the left pane would be a folder and a subfolders only view(no bookmarks displayed), with the right pane synced to the folder selected on the left showing only bookmarks, not folders.
That would be the closest to the 2panes bookmark old Firefox extension copied from Opera before it was killed and made an awful Chrome clone.
